As far as fees are concerned, José R. Niño charges $200.00 for the initial intake and evaluation, $150 per 55 minute individual session and $ 150.00 for 55 minute couple's or family session. Missed appointments without at least a 24 hour notice will still need to be paid for except in genuine emergencies. Phone calls will not incur any charge unless they go beyond 15 minutes in duration.
As for the use of third party payers like insurance companies or managed care organizations, currently I am only accepting payment through BCBS PPO. However, if you are not part of these two plans, I am happy to provide you with billing statements (indicating dates of service, diagnostic codes, amount paid, etc.), which can later be submitted for reimbursement through select health insurance plans. I encourage you to call your insurance provider to assess whether this might be an option for you.
