Mosaic Counseling Center is a collaboration between José Rodrigo Niño and Rebecca Hamilton Niño, partners both in private practice and in life. They bring a combined experience of more than 30 years to the field of psychotherapy, and both are Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPCs) who hold Master's Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. In addition, they both abide by the Code of Ethics outlined by the American Counseling Association, of which they are members.
José R Niño specializes in working with a diverse population on a variety of issues related to child, adolescent, and adult mental health, as well as transitions, interpersonal relationships, and behavioral health conditions. Born and raised in Colombia, I have a particular passion for working with Spanish speaking and immigrant populations.
José R. Niño is bilingual (Spanish/English) and bi-cultural and has an interest in working on acculturation issues. He has experience and training teaching yoga and working with groups and organizational dynamics. He also has extensive experience working with couples and families, as well as with patients dealing with behavioral health issues.
